The IAAP’s (International Association of Accessibility Professionals) popular ‘Network & Learn’ events are especially for UK and India Chapter IAAP members, plus anyone considering becoming a member.
For February’s IAAP Network and Learn event we will be joined by Simon Ellis, Accessibility Specialist at Accenture. Simon will be sharing how to build accessibility into the software development lifecycle. Incorporating accessibility into the software development lifecycle is a collaborative effort that involves every member of the project team. Simon will highlight the specific roles and responsibilities of product owners, project managers, designers, business analysts, developers, and testers in ensuring that digital products are inclusive and accessible to all users.
This session will provide a snapshot on how to collaborate effectively to create digital experiences that are not only functional, but inclusive for everyone. The virtual event acts as a networking session where members and potential members can share accessibility tips and expertise, and it’s an event to help build and strengthen our community for accessibility professionals.
