IAAP\u2019s Accessibility Professional Certification <\/strong>offerings provide organizations with the resources to build a skilled workforce. Our certification process consists of the following 5 stages to guide you from preparation to maintenance:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Prepare<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Each IAAP Certification program has a Content Outline and Body of Knowledge. Reviewing these materials and identifying your areas of strength and topics to research will help you plan your study program.     1. Apply<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Be sure you have read the IAAP information about your certification, have created your study preparation plan, have selected your exam format, and are ready to sit for the exam before you apply. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Test<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        IAAP Exams are offered around the world at more than 1,000 Pearson Branded and Pearson Partner Test centers worldwide, online remote with Pearson OnVUE Remote Exams, and at hosted exam events. Learn more on our IAAP Exam Locations & Options webpage<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Earn<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          When you receive your exam results you will be asked to opt-in or out of the Certified Professional Directory<\/a>. You will also receive information about how to create your Credly account to display your official IAAP Credly Certification badge<\/a>. You will also receive a full color tagged digital certificate and letter of support regarding your certification(s). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. Maintain<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            All IAAP Certifications are valid for three (3) years and can be renewed by earning Continuing Education Accessibility Credits (CAECs) through Professional Development or Sharing Your Knowledge.
