About Us

The UK Chapter of IAAP aims to help and support UK members in their accessibility career by providing engaging events to expand their knowledge in the sector, networking opportunities top open up our black book of contacts, and assisting with certification and advice on any issues they are currently facing within the industry

IAAP Chapters promote the expansion of the accessibility profession in their global region. The Chapters and their members are responsible for following the IAAP Code of Conduct, Privacy Policy, and Accessibility Guidelines.  Memberships and certifications are processed through the IAAP central website.  Regional Chapters offer localized education and event offerings.

AbilityNet is proud to be a founding member of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals and the leader of the UK Chapter.

Founded in 2014 the IAAP is a global not-for-profit membership-based organisation for individuals and organizations that are focused on digital accessibility. Other founding members include Adobe, Barclays, IBM and Microsoft and the UK Chapter includes members such as Barclays, Atos, Lloyds Bank and many more.
